Power soprano Shawna Harris pulls no punches.  From the opening bars of her single, “Praise Your Way Out,” she declares with an evangelist’s conviction: “There is a praise that will lead you into a breakthrough…a praise that will get God’s attention….all you’ve got to do is Praise Your Way Out.”

And that’s what happens.  Harris and her background vocalists put so much vocal energy into the performance that you feel, as well as hear, the assertion that “it’s already done.”

Waynesboro, Georgia’s Shawna Dominique Harris was a vocalist with M.D. Stokes and Victorious Praise, a group featured on Kerry Douglas Presents Gospel Mix Vol. 4.  She was the featured artist on the ensemble’s “Better to Know” and “Overflow,” and anticipates releasing her first solo project this summer.
