David Jones, Jordan Phillips, and Donna Riggs informed TBGB today that Bishop James L. Craig of Detroit’s famed Craig Brothers passed on this evening.
Jones said that Bishop Craig “was singing at a popular church in Detroit. After he sang his solo, he clutched his chest and pitched forward. There was a nurse in the audience that tried to resuscitate him, but he had passed, even before he went to the hospital.”
“Gospel Memories” will do a special tribute to Bishop Craig and the Craig Brothers this Saturday, August 4.

LIES! i was there that night and all that happened was he sang a song, fell over, people rushed to him (no nurse did such a thing and he didn’t clutch his heart)and we called the hospital. Afterwards, they took him away and he passed at the hospital. so there you have it. a true story and it happened on my birthday so i cant forget it.
Thank you for the truth. Im Bishop Craig’s lil sister. Although there was a nurse She did help Our family thanks her and anyone else that tried to help.
