Dubbed the “Boyz II Men of gospel” for their smooth, youthful harmonies and heartthrob leads, the five Wardlaw Brothers offer “Somewhere Listening,” a breezy, finger-popping song about the importance of preparing for the Rapture.  

Reworking the old spiritual with soft chords and pleading vocals, the group states it plainly: they don’t know when Jesus is coming back again, but “when the first trumpet sounds, I want to be somewhere around, listening for my name.”

The quintet’s forthcoming CD is produced by Grammy™ Award winning producer Cedric Thompson, Dove Award winning producer Antonio Neal, and Martin Luther Wardlaw.
