Of course, it takes time and persistence, and Kim’s been in the business for twenty-five years. It also takes great talent, and she has that, too. On “Surrender,” Kim’s huge, pleading voice is on full display as she blows the door off her prayer closet by testifying about her dependence on the Lord to carry her through life’s darkest moments.
