Washington, DC — The Independent Gospel Artists Alliance, Inc. (IGAA) announced the 1st Annual Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Awards celebrating independent Gospel, Christian, and Inspirational artists and their music. Artists can submit entries for award consideration starting January 1, 2019.
Award-winning gospel artists Phillip Carter and Earl Bynum are the founders of IGAA.
The Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Awards will recognize the best recordings and performances of the past year in 12 different categories. Artists who are nominated for these awards will be distinguished artists and musicians in their local communities and around the country.
The 1st Annual Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Awards will be held on July 12, 2019 at The Mount (Mount Lebanon Baptist Church) in Chesapeake, VA, where fans of independent Gospel, Christian and inspirational music will gather to watch their favorite artists and musicians claim their awards. The show will be free and open to the public.
