The National and Independent Gospel Music Association (NIGMA) is now accepting applications for the DeWayne Wallace Memorial Scholarship. The awards will be presented at the 2014 NIGMA Honors Scholarship Gala in Atlanta on March 15, 2014.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must…
– Be completing or have completed high school successfully with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
– Be accepted as a full time student at a college, university, or trade school program for the 2014 academic semester.
– Submit a 500 Word Essay.
– Submit three (3) letters of recommendation from the following individuals: Academic Counselor, Pastor or Elder. and Immediate Family Member.
– Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.
– Complete and submit a Scholarship Application by Friday, February 2, 2014.
