That’s LaShun Pace’s testimony, all right.
The member of the Anointed Pace Singers lost her eleven year-old daughter, Xenia, to heart trouble. LaShun herself was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. That’s just the start of it. On her alternately bluesy and dramatic single, “By Your Word,” Pace declares that “by your word, I am here” with all the conviction that such a testimony can muster.
