“Can’t Tell It All” is a traditional-style hip-slapper from Eunice Wright’s sophomore album, Worth It All. Lifting the Crossroad Christian Church audience to its feet, Wright sings that the Lord has been so good to her, she “can’t tell it all.” The audience claps along to the steady tempo while the guitarist fills with alternately bluesy and reverb-soaked riffs.
If Wright’s recent single, “Hello God,” is for the contemporary gospel crowd, this one goes out to the old-school church folk and should do particularly well in the South.
Meanwhile, the singer is back to business as usual after a three-month sabbatical from the music industry. She put her musical career on pause in late June to donate a kidney to her 19-year-old son, Tony. Both mother and son are doing fine.
