“Kingdom Come”
Damion Murrill & Siloam
Divinity Music Group, LLC (2013)
Damion Murrill’s music apprenticeship as a member of Donald Lawrence’s Tri-City Singers is evident on “Kingdom Come,” a walk-tempo ballad that interprets the line from The Lord’s Prayer as our empowerment, as heirs of the Kingdom, to realize the bounties of heaven on earth.
Siloam member Sasha Stackhouse does a marvelous job delivering the verses while Damion’s brother, Pastor Darwin Murrill, raises the temperature with a fiery declaration at the conclusion.
TBGB spoke with Damion about his work with Lawrence, The Murrills, this single, and what lies ahead for the singer-songwriter.  Hear the interview below.
