Erma Byrd of eByrd Communications informed TBGB that Donald Andy McClurkin Sr., father of gospel artists Donnie McClurkin and Andrea McClurkin-Mellini, passed away in Chester, SC, around 2:40 a.m. PT today, Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
Last week, the patriarch of the McClurkin family had an emergency surgery at Palmetto Health Baptist in South Carolina. TBGB extends its sympathies to the extended McClurkin Family. More details to follow.
