The Spiritual Writings of Eric Mayo
Tenor Eric Mayo and his background vocalists smooth jazz John 3:16, then launch into waves of gratitude for its life-giving message.
The second half of the song takes on a contemporary gospel flavor, as Mayo vamps in a flexible voice that moves seamlessly through a key change and a couple of octaves.

Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, singer-songwriter-keyboardist Mayo grew up in Faith Temple COGIC, where he and his siblings were members of the choir. Today, he ministers in music at Gary’s River of Life Ministries.
