Congratulations to the Clark Sisters for taking home the hardware in three of the six black gospel-related categories — and in all the categories in which they were nominated — at Sunday’s 50th Annual Grammy Awards.
It was a repeat of the group’s sweep of this year’s Stellar Awards, which to me suggests that Grammy voters are better educated on gospel music than in prior years. This year’s nominees were the strongest yet.

Congrats to all the winners. I don’t know if you saw the Grammies, but Twinkie has lost a LOT of weight. At first I didn’t see her til’ they showed her on the organ and she belted out some notes on “You Brought The Sunshine”. She still looks good and she’s still got the voice!
Hi, Joseph, I noticed that too, and I cheer her on, because she will add years to her life by taking care of her physical self.
Despite the apocryphal title of their last CD, I suspect the Clarks will do another Live CD in the future.
