Amber Bullock
From the forthcoming CD So In Love(available July 12, 2012)
But for the grace of God, “I could have been dead, sleeping in my grave,” sings Amber Bullock, BET Sunday Bestchamp and Music World Gospel recording artist.
Death, and a litany of lesser ills, could have been Bullock’s destiny, but “Lord, you’ve been so good.” ‘Nuff said.
One might think Bullock wrote this song about her journey from sleeping on the floor to recording artist, but it’s actually a reworking of a song she wrote as an undergraduate at Oakwood College . Still, it fits and Bullock sends her praise aloft with an appropriately bouncy, fun tempo she describes as “go-go.”
