From the CD I Will Declare
The Michael Weatherspoon-produced “My Offering,” sung by emerging solo artist Dana Hemphill, is a simple, melodic praise song that starts tenderly and delicately, but midway through, Hemphill stokes her vocal fire alongside the background singers to a drum-thumping apex.
Quoting from Romans 12:1—“ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”—Hemphill “surrenders all” to the Most High.
Kenneth M. Mosley’s song, the lead single from Hemphill’s solo project I Will Declare, can easily be taught to a praise team. Check out TBGB’s recent interview with Dana Hemphill here.
