Known as the “Cavs,” the Flint Cavaliers of Flint, Michigan are back with an old-school drive tempo tune called “Same God.”  

The bass and lead guitarist and drummer press the petal, easing the quartet into an energetic lesson on how God never changes. During the vamp, the male lead vocalist begins whooping a fiery reflection, complete with shouting and preacher’s breath, on the presence of God yesterday and today.  “The same God is in your house,” he shouts, “is in the White House!”  (So we are only one degree of separation from President Obama!)
