“Why God is an Entrepreneur”
By Bob Marovich for The Black Gospel Blog

God: “I will create the universe AND rest in seven days.”

God’s consultant: “What, are you nuts?!”

God’s business partner: “Let’s first form a committee to discuss this idea of yours.”

God’s marketing department: “Let’s first organize a series of focus groups to test the concept.”

God’s attorney: “What if someone gets hurt during creation?  We can’t take that kind of risk.”

God’s chief investor: “I don’t see ROI happening for a looooong time.”

God’s insurance agent: “Your premium is going to quadruple-double.”

God’s architect: “Don’t you design anything!  That is my job.”

God’s tech guy: “We’re gonna need a much bigger server.”

God’s elected representative: “I don’t think I can get both sides to vote on this.”

Steve Jobs: “Your plan makes sense to me.”

God’s travel agent: “One day to rest?  You’ll sit in the airport for one day.  You need a week!”

God’s dog: “I can’t wait until you invent the tree…and the tennis ball…and the squirrel.”

God’s cat: “Ah, skip the universe thing and just rest.”

But it was done.  And God was pleased.

The point is: anyone can talk you out of doing anything, but don’t let them.  Keep dreaming big.

Thank GOD for thinking like an entrepreneur!
