Macon, Georgia-born singer-songwriter Gerard Porter (“G”) dropped beats on “Prayze S.W.A.G. (Saved With A Gift),” a contemporary gospel line dancer, but his new single, “Conversations,” is a mellow, introspective conversation with God. 

To a mid-tempo beat, Porter finds soul consolation from his prayer, discovering that despite all of his problems, “joy comes in the morning light.”  The lyric-heavy lines, especially the hook-laden chorus, dance to their own infectious rhythm.
