Sheri Jones-Moffett takes a conventional gospel song about the power of faith and delivers it with such earnestness that it reaches lofty heights.
An alumna of Donald Lawrence’s Tri-City Singers, Jones-Moffett was also one-half of the duo Ted and Sheri. The Memphian went solo in 2009 and continues to generate steam. Her duet with Micah Stampley on “Love Never Fails” helped make the record one of TBGB’s “Best of 2013” songs. “Faith to Believe” promises to be a gospel radio favorite.
