From the forthcoming Emtro Gospel CD All is Well (available August 7, 2012)
Gospel singer-songwriter and label owner Troy Sneed has a way with a song.
His latest single, “Lay It Down,” is a hypnotic-to-rocking call to set one’s problems and pain at the foot of the Lord. Several times during the song, Sneed, a gentle preacher, checks in with the listener to see if he or she is feeling better. As if the answer is an unspoken “not yet,” he and the background vocalists ratchet up the encouragement by ratcheting up the musical intensity.
“Lay It Down” is guaranteed to get arms raised and waiving during worship services.
