The Malaco Music Group regrets to announce the passing of Air Gospel Recording Artist William “Man” Barnes of The Sunset Jubilaires.
On Thursday, May 10, 2007, approximately 1 am, the Lord called him home after a long bout with cancer.
William “Man” Barnes was an original member of The Sunset Jubiliares and sang bass with the group for 40 years until his passing.
William was the brother of F.C. Barnes, uncle of Luther Barnes, and father of recording artists Debra & Wanda Barnes. He will be greatly missed!
