Virginia Beach, VA — Earlier this year, ministry, music, and media mogul Dr. Earl Bynum and award-winning songwriter and influential businessman Jim Vierra announced their unique partnership between Bynum’s Lrae Entertainment® and Vierra’s Fifty Something Records. The collaborative effort of these two labels has yielded multiple single releases via Vierra’s anointed songwriting featuring vocal talents Ron Poindexter, Emoni Wilkins, and Royce Mosley.

Vierra and Bynum announced today that they have signed their first artist, NBC’s The Voice Top 8 standout alum Justin Aaron, to their label partnership.

“I had been speaking with Justin for over a month, and the very first time we spoke, I could tell that he was like-minded in our vision and mission for the label,” says Jim Vierra. “Justin has a strong desire to make a difference with his music and ministry. You can close your eyes and listen to his voice, and you’ll truly know this young man is very talented. With every note, you can hear the passion in his music.”

Justin enchanted audiences across the nation as a contestant on season twenty-two of The Voice. The educator turned singer-songwriter is a soft-spoken southerner whose musical style is deeply rooted in Gospel and Contemporary Christian music, laced with a hint of soulful R&B.

As a seasoned artist, executive minister of music, and music industry and media mogul, Dr. Earl Bynum understands the responsibility to nurture and pour into young talent like Justin, ensuring that the next generation carries the mantle with excellence, integrity, and heart. “Justin’s signing represents more than a new artist joining the label,” says Dr. Earl Bynum. “It’s a fresh wind for the future of Gospel. His passion, authenticity, and incredible sound remind us that the message of Christ continues to evolve while remaining timeless.”

“I’m super excited to be a part of this label family and to be able to magnify the Lord and draw others to Him through my music,” Justin states. “His word tells us that if we lift him up, he will draw all to Himself.”

He continues, “The goals that I have for my career in music are to make the name of Jesus BIG and to release music that honors God and brings people into the awareness of his presence through authentic worship, which allows people to worship in spirit and in truth. My purpose, aligned with the foundation of Fifty Something Records and Lrae Entertainment®, was one of the first things that drew me to desire to have a relationship with Jim and Earl. They have the heart of Christ.”

Bynum and Vierra aim to cultivate more than hits; they want to develop a culture of business integrity, steeped in spiritual purpose with Christ as the nucleus. Building legacies, expanding their media presence, and helping their artists grow both creatively and professionally is their collaborative goal. Justin Aaron is the next step toward that for the label, with new music expected to be released at the beginning of 2026.
