With everything going on these days, there can never be too many songs reminding us that trouble don’t last always.
Adding to the list is Lil Prince & Company’s latest single, “It’s Going to Get Better.” In addition to offering hope to a weary people, the Fayetteville, North Carolina, artist and son of quartet veteran Doc McKenzie wanted to offer something a little different from his trademark traditional sound. Notwithstanding the female vocalists and modern musical heft, the song still has the North Carolina quartet vibe in its DNA. ‘Cause you can’t shake a good thing.
