“I’m Better Now”
Keith Moore
Independent (release date: January 17, 2025)
By Robert M. Marovich
Although Washington, DC-based singer Keith Moore starts “I’m Better Now” quietly and cautiously, it’s not long before he’s singing the stuffing out of this gospel ballad on Jesus as his source of strength, overcoming, and personal victory.
Moore receives more than ample assistance from the background vocalists and a team of talented musicians. A warbling organ gives the orchestration church cred. By the vamp, the entire ensemble is electrifying as it lends sonic support to the song’s sentiments. Powerful.
