“Devil Go Home”
Creigh Riepe
Independent (release date: June 13, 2025)
By Robert M. Marovich
In 2007, Shekinah Glory Ministry stomped on the devil’s head. In 2025, Criegh Riepe orders the devil out of his house.
On “Devil Go Home,” Christian singer-songwriter Riepe fires off lyrics like a machine gun as he details how he took control of his tangled life by cleaning the devil out of his business. The Pentecostal handclap on the backbeat gives the song a two-step feel as a fiddle saws away on a riff that is part Celtic, part country.
Listeners may remember Creigh Riepe from his time as a contestant on Season 26 (2024) of NBC’s The Voice, where he was coached by Reba McEntire.
