Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and now based in Nashville, Taylor Tripodi is a singer-songwriter and worship leader who embarked on her professional music career eight years ago. A stack of CDs later, her latest single, “This is Redemption,” is a tuneful and energetic paean to the power of salvation. Her voice is Broadway boldness tinged with Mid-South country.
It’s heartening to find a Catholic musician who embraces Protestant CCM melodies and messaging. I hope more do so. And in my opinion, having a hint of a banjo in the mix of “This is Redemption” doesn’t hurt, either.
