Grammy-nominated Anita Wilson’s new single, “That’s What He’s Done For Me,” had me when she name checks Leanne Faine and the Thompson Community Singers, and then proceeds to deliver the final moments of the song in the Tommies’ traditional swagger.
The song’s breezy arrangement aligns with Wilson’s jazzy vocals and the message about God’s goodness made manifest in daily life. If it is any indication of the quality of Wilson’s forthcoming sophomore album, Vintage Worship, it will be worth the wait.
