“Believe”
Chanel
Obsidian Records (2013)
Chanel (Chanelle) Haynes, formerly one-half of the contemporary gospel duo Trin-i-tee 5:7, announces her solo career with a sonic explosion of sound called “Believe.”

She knows a man, Chanel sings spicily, who “will change your ways…set you free” and “late in the midnight hour will turn it around.”  C’mon, you know who she means.

With an infectious hand clapping beat and no-nonsense slices of tricked out ’70s soul, “Believe” is an attention grabber from start to finish and a very promising charter.  The single is from her forthcoming CD, Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel, scheduled for release on her own Obsidian Records label this fall.
