GC3’s “I Am Yours” is a simple P&W mantra of discipleship, hypnotic in atmosphere, led with passion (and evangelistic fervor in parts) while the music alternates between gentle and stirring. The harmonies are silky and mellow.
Based out of Tampa, Florida, GC3 stands for God’s Chozen Trinity, a multicultural, multi-denominational ensemble of singers and musicians led by Emile Davis. Better known as GC, the group recorded its debut CD, Take Off Your Mask, in August 2009.
If there is a P&W style distinct to Florida, and I think there is, GC3 epitomizes it.
