Here’s one for the Christian clubs, or simply for the faithful who like themselves a little EDM. 

“Speak Life” is from Buffalo’s Sharifah, a singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and model.  Two scoops of techno beat drive her message to embrace positivity and freedom in the face of negativity and soul captivity.  She encourages the weak to declare they are strong, knowing Jesus is on their side.  

Evocative of Madonna’s dance music—Sharifah’s deep, warm trills even sound a little like Madge’s—“Speak Life” is best enjoyed at maximum volume, but fades out too soon.  Remix?
