“We Worship You” is another quietly breezy and melodic urban P&W single from Cheneta Jones, the emerging gospel singer-songwriter from St. Louis who some may know from her role as lead background singer for Tye Tribbett.

To rumbling drums, clashing symbols and background vocalists in the distance, Cheneta Jones explores her high and low register while improvising on the melody and lyrics. She pulls back in volume and selects a lithe touch to fit the delicacy of the song’s prayer of thanksgiving.

The singer has a reason to worship. “I’ve been through a lot in the last two years and have overcome many obstacles,” Jones says. “This new album is very relatable and expresses my love for Jesus. He is my everything.”
