“Somehow”

To an invigorating Jamaican/African fusion beat with ringing guitar licks, Jermet “J.Cee” Campbell sings this song of encouragement to herself. “I know my breakthrough is on its way,” J.Cee sings, raps, and shouts like a reggae-flavored evangelist. She encourages others to jump and praise in the knowledge that their breakthrough is also coming.

J.Cee launched her professional gospel music career on October 21, 2006, with Bishop Dr. Joseph Ade-Gold providing his apostolic covering and blessing to her. On Sunday, December 13, 2009, J.Cee was ordained a Minister of Abundant Life Christian Church. Her ministry has taken her to the United States and major Caribbean territories, including her home country of Jamaica. She has multiple nominations in the 2012 Atlanta Caribbean Gospel Music Awards.

Catch the flamboyant piano playing towards the end and swim in this track’s contagious beat. I dare you to listen to this song and not start to swaying.
