“Everything”
Kezia Alford
From the CD Proverbs 31 (2011)
http://www.keziaalford.com/

To a light jazz piano combo, Greenville, Mississippi native Kezia Alford pulls on her life experience to assure us, in a smoky delivery, that “everything’s going to be all right.”

Born premature, baby Kezia was near death, but the Lord had other plans for her. Now a wife and mother, she shifts from nonchalant to passionate in exhorting the listener to “put your trust in God tonight.”

While “Everything” is the lead single from Alford’s CD, “Forever and Always” is an even stronger selection. Here, Alford’s smoky voice is lifted in praise as she delivers a memorable chorus and gets caught up in an evangelistic moment by the conclusion.
