“Share Your Light With Me”
Angela
Available on iTunes

What I like about this single, written by Seth Tuffour and sung by female vocalist Angela, is that it features something akin to the Phil Spector Wall of Sound experience.

The opening strains of singsong piano and percussion give way to a dense cloud of instrumentation and choral singing that surrounds and eventually envelops Angela, whose voice is reminiscent of Ronnie Spector: equal parts confident and vulnerable. By the end, as Angela welcomes the light into her life, one can feel the cloud parting and the rays breaking through.

Tuffour, originally from Ghana, West Africa and now living in Denver, is an emerging gospel songwriter.
