On Saturday, October 23, 2010, Central City Productions will present the first-ever live telecast of the Stellar Awards Nomination Concert and Announcements.
The telecast will be aired live on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) at 7:00 p.m. Saturday from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Antioch, Tennessee.
Stellar and Grammy Award-winning gospel music artist Donnie McClurkin will host the live one-hour telecast, with a special 5:30 p.m. pre-show hosted by NBC’s WSMV-TV weekend anchor Jonathan Martin.
The telecast will provide details on the nominees, performers, presenters, taping information, red carpet arrivals, ticket prices and “Fan Favorite” voting. The press conference will also announce award recipients for the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award, the Thomas A. Dorsey Most Notable Achievement Award and the Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones Legends Award.
Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones and gospel artists Lucinda Moore, Joe Pace, VaShawn Mitchell, Bishop Neal Roberson, and Jessica Reedy will appear, along with other special guests.
