“Awesome God”
Brian Courtney Wilson

Brian Courtney Wilson originally presented Luke Mercer’s worship anthem “Awesome God” with the choir at Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston. It is one of the new recordings Wilson included on the Deluxe Edition (CD & DVD) of his debut album, Just Love. It is also one of his finest vocal moments since “All I Need.”

Stan Jones and Castro Coleman are among the musicians, and Brandon Mitchell and Singers with a Purpose provide additional vocals for the new single.

“Awesome God” is an achingly beautiful and majestically arranged testimony that demonstrates the depth of the singer-hymnist’s passion and power. In an era of sound-alike worship songs, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest.
