Lisa Page Brooks, former lead singer of Witness, landed firmly on the gospel charts as a solo artist earlier this year with her hit, “I Want to Say Thank You.”
She’s back with another single, “God is Good,” from her album, Strong. This praise song is as joyous as its title indicates. It has a bouncy, Afro-Caribbean-tinged tempo, and the antiphonal game of catch between Brooks and her background vocalists can’t help but brighten up listeners’ day as they sing along with the memorable chorus.
