“That’s Where I’ll Be”
Limie Dupree
D.A.R.E. Music Group (release date: June 26, 2026)

By Robert M. Marovich

If you’re waiting for Limie Dupree’s debut single, “That’s Where I’ll Be,” to eventually erupt into a sonic explosion of praise at some point, you’ll wait forever. The worship ballad’s hushed mood never alters from start to finish.

It’s because the song was born organically during a quiet worship moment at church. Dupree sings with restrained force and the background vocalists almost whisper their response as a gentle piano serves as sole accompaniment. Still, I can’t see how a congregation can stay seated for long as Dupree delivers this deceptively powerful selection.

The Toledo-based singer and worship leader plans to release an EP later this year.
