“Work Your Faith”
Tanya Dallas-Lewis
Stellar-, Dove- and Rhythm of Gospel-nominated Tanya Dallas-Lewis takes a traditional turn on “Work Your Faith.”

The song declares that the believer must first believe if God is going to make a way.  “You show up and He’ll show out,” she shouts, and employs a basket full of melismatic runs, blue notes, growling glissandos, and an evangelistic vamp to press her point.  Powerful and engaging.
Tanya Dallas-Lewis is also host of “The Music Box” on BlogTalkRadio (www.blogtalkradio.com/the-music-box).

Thank you for the love Sir Bob!!! ♫ You know a song is the ‘one’ when it ministers to the vocalists who is singing it, FIRST! S/O to Sean “Smooth” Keys for producing & writing this one!

The song conjures the image of being in the pews at church. It encourages me to do the best that I can do and be the best me I can be. So loving this song.

Why am I still awake at this time of morning…still getting my shout on! Seriously -I truly love this song, which ministered to me – it encourages my soul. …and you’re right that we must first BELIEVE that God will make a way, and then He will “show up and show out”. Wonderful song!

Oh goodness…I love this song. It is uplifting, and truly a song for believers, and non-belivers who yearn for the truth in God’s word…He will indeed show up and show out! wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Clearly this song ministered to the artist before she dared to record – only a believer in God’s promise of never to leave or foresake could render such a powerful song. Whew…God bless you Tanya Dallas-Lewis!!
