“I Am God”
Cynthia Simons
From the CD Thankful
When singer, songwriter and actress Cynthia Simons sings that God is a healer, she has the testimony to reinforce her belief.
Simons, who has shared the stage with gospel icons such as Rev. James Cleveland, Fred Hammond, Shirley Caesar and Walter Hawkins, is a twenty-year cancer survivor. On her pop-driven single, “I Am God,” written by Gerald Haddon, she sings of this miracle from God’s perspective. “I hear everything, see everything, know everything,” so “there’s no problem I can’t solve.” Including cancer.
Simons has appeared in the films Blessed & Cursed and The Gospel. The single is on her debut CD Thankful, available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and CD Baby.
