“Thank You for Being There”
Eddie James & Phoenix Mass Choir
Malaco Records/Eddie James Ministries (2013)
“Thank You for Being There” is a heartwarming ballad of gratitude that could be directed to a mother, father, grandparent, spouse, friend, or the Most High for their steadfast support in good times and bad.  It’s a song that radio could use on Mother’s and Father’s Day programs and a school choir could sing to their parents.

Eddie James croons the tune with the meaty muscle of James Ingram while the Phoenix Mass Choir gradually raises the key and dynamics—as well as the emotional temperature—of the performance.

Remember singing this with you and the Victory Choir at Calvary. Still one of my most favorite songs ever.
