RIP Huey Williams of the Jackson Southernaires
By Robert M. Marovich Darrell Luster of Malaco Music Group informed JGM today that Huey Williams of the famed gospel quartet the Jackson Southernaires, passed away today, March 24, 2025. He was 86. RIP: Bishop Carlton D. Pearson, Megachurch Leader
Bishop Carlton Pearson died on Sunday night in hospice care in Tulsa due to cancer, said his agent, Will Bogle.
“His Job” – Dr. E. LaQuint Weaver II feat. Biblical People
With the full-throated Biblical People choir supporting him with bursts of staccato lyrics, Weaver reminds the church that when times are toughest, like when loved ones pass away, just let go and let God do his job.
