I’m no expert on Christian hip hop, but I like what I like, and “So Lovely” by the female duo TruthWon is musically and lyrically captivating. This expertly produced explosion of gratitude for God’s love is a sonic kaleidoscope. Most notable are the musical flourishes of ‘70s Philly soul and quotes from the disco era. The ladies’ back-and-forth rapping and singing hold the listeners’ attention from beginning to end.
