Bishop Calvin Norton and his singers come in strong but it’s the mighty-voiced Velicia Manor who steals the show on the anthem version of “Spirit of God Moving All Over Me.” Her delight at being filled with the spirit is more than evident in her jubilant delivery, which bounces in tandem with the funky rhythm.
Bishop Norton’s Blockbuster Records imprint offers a few other versions of this song, notably a rap and remix, but to my ears, the anthem version is the go-to track.
