Today Is Your Day For a Miracle
Bishop Gregory M. Davis, Sr. & the Tabernacle Cathedral Choir
Greg Davis Ministries International 2007

While Today Is Your Day For a Miracle is the project of Bishop Gregory M. Davis, who pastors two Full Gospel Baptist churches (in Pennsylvania and Delaware), it belongs just as much to guest artist Minister Stephanie Pride.

Pride is chief worship leader and music media and arts director for House of Prayer & Praise in Detroit, and was featured on Brenda Jefferson’s 2007 A Time of Refreshing. Pride’s lovely and powerful voice captivates throughout the first half of the CD. “There’s a Flow” is her showcase piece: she begins softly and lyrically, but by the end of the nine-minute-plus performance, she has worked up to a full-on gospel growl.

The second half of the CD, recorded live at Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Church in Wilmington, Delaware last May, spotlights the singing and ministering of Bishop Davis. Transitioning from the “Prophetic Healing Flow,” during which Davis calls out for healing of the congregation’s struggles with maladies such as diabetes, back pain, ear infection, and depression, he moves into the “Church Medley.” Davis prefaces the medley by explaining to the audience that he grew up in the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, but “slipped off” to the sanctified church. The medley is a mixture of both, with songs such as “Since I Laid My Burden Down,” the Soul Stirrers’ “Jesus I’ll Never Forget,” and Kenneth Morris’ “Joybells Keep Ringing in My Soul.” Though the performance goes on for seven and a half minutes, the instrumentalists sound as if they could have played for another thirty minutes!

The second “Prophetic Healing Flow” could have been cut from the final project, as it doesn’t seem to have captured the congregation in the same way as the first. Speaking of the congregation, the crowd microphone was not high enough, and therefore did not catch the audience’s interaction with the Bishop and the singers, an all-important ingredient on a live project. Despite this, the project is well produced and Stephanie Pride is definitely worth a listen.

Pray that God will make this Great Bishop a Better Father to his children. As God take him higher he will show him where he is failing. maybe he is successful in the publics eye but what about the eye of the Lord????????????

I believe that Bishop Davis has not included all of his children. Just the ones with his new wife. Bishop I do pray that God will one day allow you to see that fame and fortune doesn’t last always. God will decide when it’s time for you to step down. We do not need to bring out any skeletons in your closet God will bring those out and I pray that when this happens your family that you speak so well about will all be there for you. But, as it’s been said. Those that we mistreat will be the ones that we will have to always fall back on. I pray your strength in the Lord

Do not believe the lies of this man and the so-called members of his ministry. He has been selling his products on television, preying on the poor and the sick, and when they make the mistake of giving him their credit card information they find out just how evil this wolf in sheep’s clothing can be. I am not the only victim of this thief, and if you have been victimized too then let the voices of the righteous rise up against this impious impostor! You and your company that keeps charging my credit card will face judgement very soon.

I have to agree with the person who spoke about the ministry taking money from people. This ministry keeps taking money from my account which I did not authorize. I have requested more than 5 times for them to stop and they still keep taking my money. I think this ministry is a fraud and Mr. Greg Davis will end up in hell for cheating God’s people. The ministry does not respond to people who try and contact them.

To anonymous, You should be careful about putting your mouth on a man of god. The word says “Touch not my annointed do my profit no harm”. You seem to be an intelligent person that can articulate your words. Did it ever occur to you that he obtained the service of a company to handle credit charges. I don’t believe Bishop Davis has the time to handle each credit card transaction. I feel bad for you and I understand your frustration especially because of the economy. But I feel that you are wrong for accusing GMD for something that is not in his control. I have been Bishop friend since we were nine years old in Detroit, MI on the east side of Detroit, WBC. I pray his strength as well as yours and I hope that your issue would be resolved in the christian way. Without putting your mouth on a man of god

    God Bless You
