“Keep Blessin’”
The Robersons
OpenHeart Music Group (release date: August 28, 2026)
By Robert M. Marovich
No strangers to JGM, the Robersons—formerly known as Desmond Roberson & the Roberson Bunch—return with “Keep Blessin’,” a hand-clapper in the gospel quartet tradition.
“I should have lost it all,” declares the four-person family group from Georgia, but “Lord, you kept me; you never, never left me.” The group’s optimistic antiphonal singing, especially its cheery harmonies and squalling lead, evokes the recent Stellar Award-winners Lisa Knowles-Smith and the Brown Singers or a fire baptized version of forever JONES.
