Singer-songwriter-producer and Paris resident Jerry St. Charles, aka JSCToken, fuses spirituality with club music to produce “Holy Dance Groove-1.”
It’s JSCToken’s MO to sculpt soundscapes that invigorate and inspire. This one has a John Legend / Pharrell Williams summery vibe, with the praise lofted vertically and the dance moves shifting feet from side to side. The single cover art is extraordinary. And the use of synth, while overused in gospel to disastrous effect, works effectively here. Brief but buoyant.
