“Praise Him”
Bishop Dan Willis & the All Nations Choir feat. Fred Dubose
From the Asone Music Group album “Live” in Chicago (release date: July 3, 2023)

By Robert M. Marovich

“Praise Him” has the fulsome and thunderous Sunday morning church choir sound characteristic of its presenter, Bishop Dan Willis and the All Nations Choir, the artist formerly known as the Pentecostals of Chicago. It also has the musical trademarks of its writer, Percy Gray, who has composed similarly vigorous worship material for Chicago Mass Choir.

The single and album were recorded at the choir’s home base, Lighthouse Church of All Nations in Alsip, Illinois. Although this is the first time in two decades Bishop Willis’s aggregation has recorded, they sound as vibrant as ever.
