The rhythm section and background voices swirl around Tamela’s dramatic testimony while a five-string banjo keeps the arrangement rooted in the earth’s soil and frenetic electric guitar riffs give it wings. It’s an especially energetic offering from the actor and singer better known for hit ballads like “Take Me to the King,” “God Provides,” and “Touch From You.”
“Working for Me” is the opening track of Tamela Mann’s forthcoming album, Live Breathe Fight, slated for an October 11 release.
