The Thomas Whitfield Company and the Detroit gospel family lost tenor singer Ronald J. Kelly and keyboardist extraordinaire Bishop Earl Jerome Wright, Jr. in the space of mere days.
Among today’s artists who work within the gospel jazz idiom are Elder Randall Ogans Sr. and his son Dorian Ogans. They jazz five old and new hymns on their EP, Jesus the Light of the World.
It is with deep sadness that we join the family of Kevin Lemons in announcing his transition early this morning.
